Tampa, Fla. – The Florida State League named Tampa Yankees Infielder Jorge Mateo Player of the Week today. This honor was for games played August 10 – 16, 2015.
Mateo played in five (5) games and collected 10 hits in 23 plate appearances for a .435 batting average. He had three (3) doubles, one (1) triple, scored four (4) times, with three (3) stolen bases and four (4) RBI’s. His OBP was .458 and slugging percentage was .652.
